I forgot to mention, as you asked Jo, that I was worried sick that Suki would be traumatized this being the first time she was without her mama for two days and one night (my neighbour came Saturday nite and Sunday am) - we returned Sunday night to be greeted by cats as if we had only been at work for one normal day and no one seemed any more upset than usual

so now I know that one night out is not a problem for the little princess!

Spectacular view there Carole, what a fab time you must have had even with the sore feet. I'm so glad your furkids didn't give you grief for leaving them. Last time I went anywhere leaving a furry friend behind I got similar treatment to J, and was ignored! That time I was living in a flat above the friend that took care of my cat...she has 8 of her own so I knew he would be fine, the cheeky sod only took himself off downstairs and meowing at her door, obviously thought I wasn't good enough he did forgive me eventually though.

At least you now know you can sneak off with Daniel for some quality time together.
