Sometime last night I woke up - pitch dark inside and outside. Woken up by Leon calling. It wasn´t his "Look I found a spider/fly/moth/butterfly/mosquito...!" or the cute but at nighttime more annoying and more persistent "I can´t reach the spider/fly/moth/butterfly/mosquito...". Something else, something more sinister must have been going on.
I switched on the light and got a big fright!
Keira was sitting outside on the balcony. Had I shut her out? How and when and when and how?
No time and place to worry how this happened, better get her back inside. As I opened the balcony door the cat jumped away and vanished. So here was me worrying of course, she might have fallen off the balcony because she got scared.
Then I realized it hadn´t even been her
but an unknown visitor! I could not imagine how a cat could reach my balcony from the outside.
In the daylight it still looks difficult but possible.

So Leon was just telling a stranger to get lost! I hope he does that as well in case of burglars :-))
Also hope this is not going to be an every night event! siamesechat/c90fc5ead51c33fef44bd33679e9835c.gif

oh dear - did they have a good sniff about out there this morning? Leon must have been quite put out at that invasion of property smile.gif

Cats are really amazing, the Houdinis and acrobats of the domestic animal world! siamesechat/gigsign.gif

Maybe i'ts a lady cat come calling for Leon? We often have females prowling up and down outside our fence calling for the boys, silly girls...these two have been de-maltesered and yet still they come looking.
Hope you managed to get back to sleep ok after your fright and Leon isn't too upset about this new visitor.
